Our group conducted a series of interviews from adolescents and adults both to obtain their perspectives regarding the change in trend of recreational activities before and during COVID-19. Both groups went through an unhealthy change, though the degree of the change differed. Adults reported that their reason for increase in social media usage was work-from-home and online schooling. Whereas, adolescents reported that their primary reason for increase in social media usage was boredom apart from the other reason of online schooling.
