What can be done to limit screen time?

Screen time has risen exponentially during the pandemic and it is to our benefit that we decrease it.

The digital world is not something that can immediately be excluded from our life and we have to take small gradual steps to decrease our overall screen time. These steps include controlling the urge to check your phone after every five minutes, though this can be minimized by turning off notifications. We can remove the charger from our bedroom so that before we sleep we are not distracted by our phones.

Other steps include trying to set a timer for overall usage. We should also try to find a hobby that motivates us to escape the grips of our devices and devote time to that other activity.
